EZ Recall 5.0: "The Business Records Center in a Box" Now Shipping

Key Information Management Tool Adds New Capabilities for Accessing, Using,
Distributing and Archiving Business Records

February 5, 1996 -- Puyallup, WA, - EZ Image Inc. today announced the
release of EZ Recall 5.0, "The Business Records Center in a Box" for
Microsoft Windows. EZ Recall is easy-to-use "right out of the box" and
dramatically simplifies how businesses store, use, access, distribute and
archive their business information. EZ Recall offers tremendous advantages
when incorporated with a business's existing accounting and information
management system by providing a complete solution for on-line access to
important business information directly from a PC or from a LAN server. 

EZ Recall manages computer generated reports and documents from PC's,
minicomputers, and mainframes, data from many applications, faxes and
scanned images. EZ Recall is a suite of tools that provides the complete
solution to Business Record Management without requiring expensive
customization. The "Core Module" (single user or networked) provides
computer information capture, automated indexing, report management,
storage, query, retrieval, and "data mining tools". Additional Add-on
Modules provide: Imaging, Storage Management, and Business Records
Publisher with free distribution of a Data Viewer Module. For production
applications with additional requirements, EZ Recall offers Barcode
Recognition Auto Filing, OCR, and Rendition Billing (transportation
industry specific module). 

Implemented alone, EZ Recall's Core Module enables businesses to easily
capture and store reports, invoices, or any computer generated accounting
output, and to store them in an easy to use, searchable database. The EZ
Recall Business Records Publisher provides the ability to export to
floppy, CD, or the Internet for distribution. With the EZ Recall Network
Version, multiple users have simultaneous access to historical reports,
invoices, statements, etc., in a true WYSIWYG format.

Among the new features in EZ Recall 5.0 are: 

* Publish and distribute on floppy, CD, or via the Internet; 
* "Data Viewer Module" that can be distributed free with EZ Recall
  data;
* Process automation for data capture (batch scanning, bar codes,
  automatic indexing, and others);
* Storage Manager (for aging information and documents) controls
  transfers between storage devices including hard disk, optical,
  magneto-optical, CD, tape, or "the vaporizer" (recycle bin). 

EZ Recall 5.0 will be available February 1, 1996. EZ Recall is "Ready Out
of the Box" to drop into any Windows-compatible PC running Windows 3.1 or
Windows 95. Network compatibility includes Novell, Windows NT, Windows for
Workgroups, and other popular LANs. For best performance when working with
graphical images, recommended configurations include a scanner (at least
150 dpi), SVGA monitor, 486/66 or better, 16MB of RAM, and adequate
storage capacity.
