availability of its custom-configured Dell PowerEdge Web- ready servers.
The new Dell Internet servers are coupled with Microsoft Corporation's new
Internet Information Server (IIS) product which provides Web server
software that is integrated into the Microsoftr Windows NT Server network
operating system. Dell's PowerEdge Web servers offer customers an
affordable choice with the power and performance of an Intel-based single
processor through quad-processor systems.

The Dell PowerEdge Web servers, offered through Dell Plus build-to-order
manufacturing, come standard with the Microsoft Windows NT Server network
operating system and can be custom-designed to meet the needs of customers
with high Intranet and Internet traffic. The combination of Dell
high-performance PowerEdge servers with Microsoft Internet Information
Server software allows customers to easily create their own internal
corporate Web servers. Dell's Web-ready servers are optimized to take
advantage of Windows NT Server's high-performance architecture which
provides a powerful platform for a new generation of Web applications. The
multiprocessing servers offer increased performance for small, medium and
high-end Internet and Intranet use.
