Design Data Systems Announces Financial Applications for Windows 95

LARGO, FL (JANUARY 3, 1996) -- Design Data Systems, developers of
client/server business applications for Oracle, will be releasing their
complete line of client/server Financials and Distribution Software, for
Windows 95, by second quarter 1996. This marks the first release of a
major client/server applications suite to the Microsoft platform.

The DDS Windows 95 release, which is optimized for Oracle, is currently
certified to run under the 16 bit version. DDS developers have been
running the Financials under the new operating system for several weeks
and report reduced system errors and enhanced system performance. The 32
bit version will not be available until Oracle upgrades their new GUI
toolset, entitled Developer 2000, currently scheduled for first quarter
1996.

"Users will find the new release just as easy-to-install and navigate as
other platforms. However, there is a noticeable improvement in response
time and system stability over MS Windows," said Jeff Croft, DDS VP of
MIS. "This is an important consideration when working within Oracle
especially where large table structures, complex queries and multiple
sessions require a lot of memory and add to downtime," Croft adds.
