CA-UNICENTER FOR NT WINS BEST NEW SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT PRODUCT AWARD FROM
DATAMATION MAGAZINE

Readers Overwhelmingly Select CA Solution, As Three of Four Other Nominees
Failed to Earn Enough Votes to Even Qualify as Finalists

ISLANDIA, N.Y., February 13, 1996-- Adding to its growing list of editorial
honors, CA-Unicenter for Windows NT has been named "Best New Systems
Management Product for 1996" by readers of Datamation, a leading trade
magazine for IS professionals.

The award is the third given to CA-Unicenter in just the last three months.
In January, CA-Unicenter swept CIO Magazine's Third Annual Reader's Choice
Award for Best UNIX System Security Solution for the third consecutive
year. In December, CA-Unicenter won UNIX Review magazine's prestigious
1995 Outstanding Product Award.

"We are always gratified by client approval," said Yogesh Gupta, senior
vice president of product strategy, "but we've come to expect this with
CA-Unicenter, because it provides exactly what IS managers need most: a
robust and unified environment. We thank the editors of Datamation for
their nomination, and thank their readers for this prestigious honor."

Datamation readers evaluated more than 50 products in 10 technology
categories. In CA-Unicenter's category, three of the four other nominees
failed to muster the minimum number of reader votes to be named a
finalist.

DATAMATION, read twice each month by more than 230,000 enterprise computing
professionals in North America and Europe, will profile the winners in the
Feb. 15th issue.
