today announced ClearCase Attache 2.0, the newest version of Atria's
client software configuration management (SCM) tool for medium- to
large-size Windows development teams. In addition to new Windows 95
support, ClearCase Attache 2.0 provides access to SCM data from within
Microsoft's Visual Basic and Visual C++; allows users graphical views of
SCM information; and gives Windows developers a more secure and flexible
client/server environment.

Graphical Browsing of Version Information -- ClearCase Attache 2.0 adds
powerful graphical browsers that allow developers to more easily examine
version information. Specifically, ClearCase Attache users can graphically
view file and project information, such as properties, history and version
trees, which will allow them to better understand and manage complex
application development projects.

Secure, Flexible Client/Server Development -- ClearCase Attache uses a
client/server architecture in which the ClearCase Attache client resides
on a PC running Windows 95, Windows NT, Windows 3.1 or Windows for
Workgroups 3.11. The client works directly with ClearCase running on a
Windows NT or UNIX server. This allow ClearCase Attache users to benefit
from secure repositories, flexible process control and accurate build
management. In a related announcement, Atria today announced ClearCase 2.1
for Windows NT.

Pricing and Availability -- Atria plans to ship ClearCase Attache 2.0 in
the first quarter of 1996. Pricing in the United States for ClearCase
Attache 2.0 is $995 for the first user license. Quantity discounts and
