Apple Computer and Aventure du Bout du Monde Team-Up

Apple to Provide Technology and Expertise for Development of a New French
and English Web Site Dedicated to Travel

CANNES, France (MILIA Exhibition)--February 9, 1996--Apple Computer, Inc.
and Aventure du Bout du Monde (ABM), announced today that they will be
working together on a technology and marketing alliance. As part of this
relationship, Apple will work closely with ABM in the development of a
French and English Web site where a variety of travel information will be
at the fingertips of people all over the world. Additionally, Apple will
become the first computer company to be an official sponsor of the
Festival des Globes-Trotteurs, and will participate in the largest French
conference on tourism, called the Salon Mondial du Tourisme in 1996.

"We are delighted to work with ABM in the development of their first
multi-lingual Web site which will serve as a communications vehicle for
millions to discover the world," said Satjiv S. Chahil, senior vice
president of corporate marketing, whose responsibilities include
entertainment, new media and Internet at Apple. "Apple's leading- edge
technology coupled with ABM's expertise in travel information will help
prepare people's travel as well as allow them to share their personal
travel experiences with others around the world."

Along with ABM, Apple will be participating in the Salon Mondial du
Tourisme (SMT) Conference, which is the largest event in France dedicated
to travel and tourism. Apple will be represented in the ABM booth where
they will demonstrate their latest technologies. Apple will also be a
sponsor of the Festival des Globe-Trotteurs, an annual conference, which
had more that 5,000 visitors in 1995. It is the only major event in France
dedicated specifically to travel story telling and information exchange.
