Cyberspace's First Entertainment Award Programs to take place exclusively
on AOL

Vienna, VA , February 6, 1996---America Online announced today its plans to
offer a full suite of entertainment award programs including cinema and
television. This announcement follows the success of cyberspace's first
music awards program, The Online Music Awards (OMA''s), which took place
last night on AOL. America Online brings an exciting new dimension to
entertainment industry awards by putting all of its members on the
nominations committee.

"Online Services are an entertainment vehicle -very much like television
and radio, so it is only fitting that cyberspace would have it's own
awards programs," said Ted Leonsis, President, America Online Services
Company. "The success of The OMA's was phenomenal --We are delighted to
continue to offer this type of entertainment programming to our members."

The Online Music Awards, hosted by America Online and Reebok at The House
of Blues on Monday, February 5th. AOL members placed over 850,000 ballots
in a 6 day period for their favorite artists, releases, and music
cybersites for 1996. To find out more about The OMA's use keyword: OMA on

opportunity to nominate and vote for the candidates of their choice in 16
different categories - from best picture and best actor to best on-screen
couple. All of the awards programs give AOL members the opportunity to
meet with celebrities and award nominees in live event ceremonies online.
