WIRELESS TELECOM ANNOUNCES A PRE-CONFIGURED INTEGRATED SOLUTION FOR
WIRELESS cc:MAIL ENABLEMENT

AURORA, Colo., January 22, 1996-Wireless Telecom Inc. (WTI), the nation's
leading provider of mobile data network products and services, today
announced immediate availability of a pre-configured integrated wireless
data solution that allows Lotus cc:Mail Mobile users to automatically send
and receive messages at any time from any location. This turnkey solution
was created by WTI with products and services from GTE Mobilnet, Motorola
and Sierra Wireless.

"Market interest in AirMobile Wireless Software for cc:Mail from Motorola
is high and gives resellers a significant selling opportunity," said Rob
Balgley, president of Wireless Telecom. "Involvement by key partners such
as Motorola, GTE Mobilnet and Sierra Wireless is crucial to our being able
to create integrated solutions for the mobile data market."

The Wireless cc:Mail Solution provides a simple, cost-effective method for
moving beyond regular dial-up e-mail access. Built around AirMobile
software from Motorola, this solution delivers e-mail to users
automatically wherever they are. Because charges are based on the amount
of data transmitted, not connect time, the combination of AirMobile and
GTE Mobilnet cellular digital packet data (CDPD) service makes it possible
for the user to have the cost-effective, full-time connection required to
operate in a virtual office environment.

The bundle serves five mobile users and includes a five pack of Motorola's
AirMobile software, CDPD airtime from GTE Mobilnet, six PocketPlus
multi-mode modems from Sierra Wireless (five for mobile users and one for
the host), and 30 days of free technical support from Wireless Telecom.
WTI-developed direct mail and telemarketing efforts begin the end of
January.

AirMobile Software Products, a business unit of Motorola Wireless Data
Group, develops and markets advanced wireless software products, including
software development tools, mobile communications servers and solutions
that wirelessly enable existing LAN-based applications. AirMobile software
products directly address the challenges inherent in low-bandwidth,
variable latency wireless wide-area networks and support applications
including electronic mail, file transfer, dispatching, faxing and
peer-to-peer messaging. AirMobile Wireless Software for cc:Mail and
AirMobile for Notes were developed using the AirMobile Software
Development Kit, which is enabled by the InstantRF wireless middleware
tool set from Nettech Systems.
