ANNOUNCING WINNEWT 1.1 FOR WINDOWS

WinNewt provides tools that allow the Newton programmer to develop
NewtonScript applications on a Microsoft Windows-based PC. The developer
selects the Views (templates for application items such as buttons, check
boxes or input lines) from a Palette window. These views can then be
drawn, moved or resized with a mouse in the Layout window. Once the
appearance of the application is complete, NewtonScript code determining
the actions of the various Views is written in the Browser window. The
completed application can then be saved, printed, exported to a text file,
or downloaded to a Newton MessagePad running Steve Weyer's Slurpee 1.6 or
later. Using Mr. Weyer's Newt 3.1 (or later) development environment,
executable packages for the Newton can be created.
