THE WHAT IF...INTERACTIVE FANTASY NETWORK TO PRESENT "AN AMERICAN'S DAY IN
PARIS" JANUARY 12, 1996 LIVE ON THE INTERNET

Malibu, CA-- What IF...the Interactive Fantasy Network, is going live
on-location, online in Paris on January 12, 1996. What IF is located at
http://www.ifnet.com.

This live transmission and chat opportunity will "take" online What IF
Network guests to Paris while featuring What IF Network creator, Susan
Forkin, as she shares online, via text (in English) and images, her
experiences at a variety of prestige venues in Paris: the Cordon Bleu
Cooking School, lunch at Maxim's, behind-the-scenes at top designers'
Spring fashion shows (in the style of Pret A Porte), a trip to Au Lapin
Agile (the famous literary saloon), jazz at Le Meridian and a visit to the
world-famous Lido revue.

Online English-speaking guests will also be able to pose questions via
Susan to Parisian chefs, models, designers, musicians and others (to be
announced). What IF's "An American's Day in Paris" will begin at 9:00AM
Paris time on January 12, 1996 (1:00AM Los Angeles PST on January 12th)
and continue up through 12:00 Midnight Paris time (or through 4:00PM Los
Angeles PST on January 12th). The day-long "traveling" international
internet event is for everybody, American or not, who knows or who has
ever dreamt of going to Paris.

Explains Forkin, "What IF is all about the exploration of personal
fantasies, dreams and aspirations. For many people, Paris brings to life
beauty, imagination and romance and that's what What IF is all about.
We're committed to sharing the magic of Paris with all of our guests who
may not have the opportunity to go themselves. That's what we mean when we
say 'online and beyond'..."

What IF's "An American's Day in Paris" will be offered by Forkin following
her presentation at the Paris ITC Conference where she will speak on "The
Launching Of An Internet Network." Forkin is one of nine Americans
participating in the first ever global internet services conference which
is being held in Paris, France on January 9-11, 1996. The conference
entitled, "On-Line Services: Or Doing Business in the Cyberworld
Millennium," will address the expansion of on-line services and resulting
business opportunities emerging internationally. The sponsor of the event
is ITC (the Journal of Multimedia.)
