SKIcd PROVIDES EASY WAY TO PLAN SKI VACATIONS

DENVER, CO (January, 1996) -- Media Odyssey, Inc. announced that it has
teamed up with SKI Magazine to release an updated version of its popular
ski CD-ROM. The CDROM, billed as SKI Magazine 's SKIcd, is a comprehensive
multimedia travel planner covering over 500 ski areas in North America --
complete with detailed descriptions, sound, video clips, and thousands of
photographs and zoomable trail maps. SKIcd offers the most indepth
information available on any medium, from resort and lodging information
to zoomable trail maps and non-skiing activities, plus SKI Magazine 's
invaluable comments on leading ski areas.

"We view the SKIcd as a complementary product to our recently launched
SKInet Internet Web site," said Andy Clurman, vice president of The Skiing
Company, publishers of SKI and SKIING magazines.

One of SKIcd's unique features is the Personal Preference Navigator_, which
allows skiers to pick a destination that is best suited to their own
personal needs. The "Navigator" is a simple, on-screen menu in which users
may enter criteria that are most important to them. The program searches
all the available ski areas and presents a short list of areas that can
then be studied in greater detail. Also, by clicking on the Top 95 button,
users will pull up the resorts ranked in order by SKI Magazine 's Annual
Reader's Survey. They can then double click on the resort's name to obtain
more information.

Each featured resort includes a general overview of the area, statistics
and trail maps, lodging facilities, restaurants, shops and services; as
well as information on how to get there, special events and non-skiing
activities, too. It even includes information on summer and fall
activities. The program contains thousands of photographs and maps, and
several of the areas include interesting history sections -- complete with
photographs, narration and video.

SKIcd will save countless phone calls for brochures and information from
various sources because all the information is now in one place and easy
to access. For example, users can "click" on a Direct Dial button to place
a call directly to the resort, central reservations or a lodging property
to begin the booking process.

"For the second year now, we're providing an easy-to-use resource for
people who may not have the time to do a lot of research on a particular
ski area or who may have to juggle the needs and interests of a diverse
group of people," said Charles Greer, Media Odyssey president. "Purchasers
of the product last year included individuals, ski clubs and travel
agents, and I expect this year will be no different," Greer concluded.

The SKIcd for Windows-based personal computers is available for only $9.95
(plus $4.95 for shipping and handling) and may be ordered directly by
calling 1-800-997-5423 (1-800-99-SKICD). Visa, Mastercard and American
Express are accepted. Purchasers of last year's SkiOdyssey disc can obtain
the 1995/'96 version for only $5.95.

For more information and a SKIcd demo, checkout Media Odyssey's Web site at
http://mediaodyssey.com/mediaodyssey/skiody.html or SKI Magazine's site at
http://skinet.com. Media Odyssey's internet location offers basic
information on every ski area in the U.S.A. and select Canadian areas, and
also highlights one ski resort each week providing a complete demo of what
the SKIcd offers, including photographs and trail maps.
