SAMSUNG REINFORCES ITS LEADERSHIP ROLE IN SERVICE AND SUPPORT WITH EXPANDED
PROGRAM FOR 1996

RIDGEFIELD PARK, NJ -- Samsung Electronics America's Information Systems
Division, a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics Company, the world's largest
manufacturer of monitors, is starting 1996 with a commitment to its
customers that includes an enhanced service and support program.

Effective January 1, 1996, Samsung is adding an industry-leading three-year
Advanced Replacement program to its already comprehensive warranty. The
company is also expanding its toll-free service and support to 24-hours a
day, seven days a week.

"Samsung knows that being a leading provider of excellence is a two-fold
process which includes providing high-grade products and backing them with
an immediate response service and support program for its customers," said
John R. Grundy, Senior National Marketing Manager for Monitors. "Our
expanded service program and customer support hours are just an indication
that 1996 will be a benchmark year of excellence and commitment to our
valued customers."

Samsung provides customers with many service options. The newest of these
is the Advanced Replacement program. This program offers customers an
opportunity to quickly replace a monitor in need of repair with a working
unit within two days. All that is required is a credit card to guarantee
the return of the malfunctioning unit.

All of Samsung's SyncMaster monitors are backed by a three-year CRT, parts
and labor limited warranty (except the SyncMaster 3). For more information
about Samsung's award-winning monitors and a detailed description of how
the Advanced Replacement program works, call SpeckCheck, the company's
24-hour fax-in-demand service at 1-800/229-2239.
