PACIFIC INTERNET'S NEW WEBCUBE SERIES P INTERNET SERVER DELIVERS COMPLETE
ISP PLUG-AND-PLAY SOLUTION

Latest Model of Popular Pentium-based, Open Architecture, Turnkey System
Designed for Internet Service Providers

CULVER CITY, Calif. -- January 8, 1996 -- Pacific Internet -- a year-old
supplier of on-line products and services -- is now delivering the WebCube
Series P Internet server, the most economical and complete Pentium-based
solution available for use by Internet Service Providers (ISPs).

Starting at an introductory price of less than $8,000 for a complete ISP
system, the WebCube Series P begins volume shipments this month (January,
1996), from the company's Los Angeles-area headquarters to a waiting list
of ISPs located throughout North America. International sales and
distribution is scheduled to begin later this quarter.

Following on heels of the successful launch of the WebCube Series W turnkey
World Wide Web (WWW) server systems last year as the first all-in-one, low
cost solution to Web publishing, the WebCube Series P enables users to
easily and economically establish a complete ISP system without having to
purchase additional hardware or software from third parties.

"The WebCube Series P is every startup ISP's dream machine and a boon to
existing ISPs looking to expand economically," claims Garry S. Hipsher,
founder of Pacific Internet.

"There is no simpler or cheaper method for building an ISP system and Web
server that can service hundreds of PPP accounts," he explained. "Pacific
Internet has been involved in intense R & D for eighteen months and has
taken the pulse of literally hundreds of existing and potential Internet
service providers to determine their technical needs," Hipsher added.

With the release of the WebCube Series P for ISPs, Pacific Internet plans
to remove the mystery and the technical trial-and-error process of
establishing an Internet provider business -- allowing providers to set-up
complete functional servers in less than 24 hours and to focus on building
their customer base rather than painfully debugging PPP, the company
stated.

Pacific Internet's WebCube Series P server line is comprised of a
cube-shaped system box that encompasses an open architecture, Intel
Pentium-driven, UNIX-like operating system-based solution complete with
all of the hardware and software necessary to establish or expand an ISP
operation -- including 32 high-speed serial ports, a user-friendly
graphical user interface, system accounting and BBS software and a
built-in router (with CSU/DSU), that supports either T1, fractional T1, 56
KB or frame relay connections.

ISP Operator as Entrepreneur

Geared towards helping the ISP turn a profit, the WebCube's system
accounting software reports the connect time and disk usage for each user
account, while the built-in BBS software enables simplified on-line
dial-up registration of new users. Both features are in keeping with
Pacific Internet's assessment of the needs of entrepreneurs entering the
lucrative and rapidly-growing Internet service arena -- where budgetary
considerations and limited UNIX engineering expertise play key roles in
determining provider's ability to compete.

Also included in all WebCube Series P models are such leading Internet
applications and utilities as: TCP/IP, PPP/SLIP and UUCP as well as Mail,
FTP, News Telnet, Web, Gopher and WAIS server software.

Fully equipped, the WebCube Series P's Model P1000 ISP server system lists
for an introductory price of $7,995. The P1000 operates on a 100 Mhz
Pentium CPU and includes as standard equipment: 32 MB of RAM (expandable
to 128 MB), high-speed 2GB SCSI disk and tape drives, internal 4X CD-ROM
(also SCSI), 32-bit PCI Ethernet, SVGA video, built-in router and CSU/DSU,
and 32 high-speed serial ports.

In addition, Pacific Internet now provides high-speed backbone service to
WebCube purchasers, through a nationwide agreement with SPRINT.

The Expanding WebCube Family

Pacific Internet's WebCube cube-shaped server line now encompasses two
complete Internet solution variations -- Web publishing via the Series
W/plug-and-play ISP systems designated as the Series P -- and includes
industry-standard Web server software as well as leading Internet
utilities (including TCP/IP, E-Mail, FTP, Gopher and news services), plus
pre-configured UNIX Internet software. All WebCube models also include
keyboard, monitor, mouse and manuals.

In addition to being a complete plug-and-play solution, the WebCube is
based on industry standard modular Pentium and UNIX-like architectures
allowing for easy and affordable upgrading of RAM, disk space and network
bandwidth as the user's needs grow.
