PACIFIC INTERNET BEGINS SHIPMENTS OF WEBCUBE
TURNKEY INTERNET SERVER LINE

November 28, 1995 -- CULVER CITY, Calif. -- Pacific Internet -- a year-old
supplier of on-line products and services -- has announced the immediate
availability of the "WebCube", the first low-cost PC-based turnkey World
Wide Web server solution.

Unveiled earlier this year by the Los Angeles-area company as its flagship
product line, the new WebCube Series W is the first available model of a
low-cost line of "plug-and-play" Internet server products being released
over the next several months.

Pacific Internet's WebCube Web server line is comprised of a cube-shaped
system box that encompasses an open architecture, Intel Pentium-driven,
UNIX-like operating system-based solution complete with all of the
hardware and software necessary to establish one or more Web sites on the
World Wide Web (WWW), and set up home pages that can be accessed by
Internet users world-wide.

To make this possible, the WebCube includes industry-standard Web server
software and comes with leading Internet utilities, including TCP/IP,
E-Mail, FTP, Gopher and news services -- as standard software features.

Also inside the Series W "cube" as standard equipment is a 90 Mhz Pentium
central processing unit, 16 Mbytes of expandable RAM, 32-bit Ethernet
card, 32-bit video, 1 Gbyte SCSI hard disk drive, internal 4X CD-ROM
drive, floppy drive, 2 Gbyte tape drive and pre-configured UNIX Internet
software.

"In searching for an all-encompassing identity for this one-of-a-kind
product line, we chose a highly descriptive name that speaks to the
creative physical design of this one-of-a-kind hardware/software
solution," explained Pacific Internet's Garry S. Hipsher.

"Our WebCube product -- with its new, stylish cube-shaped casing -- brings
to mind not only the alliterative name of the World Wide Web, but the fact
that there are three overriding benefits to this product family; namely --
price, performance and functionality." Hipsher added.

To make content development and changes effortless, WebCube includes a
complete set of easy-to-use WYSIWYG HyperText Markup Language (HTML)
authoring tools for use in the creation, editing and hyperlinking of Web
pages. Starting at less than $5,000 MSRP, WebCube also includes keyboard,
monitor, mouse, manuals and an easy-to-use icon-based interface.

Fully-configured, the WebCube server can easily handle up to 250,000 hits
per day and 5000 hits per minute, allowing users to effectively
"broadcast" information to the burgeoning Internet population.

In addition to being a complete plug-and-play solution, WebCube is based on
industry-standard modular Pentium and UNIX-like architectures allowing for
easy and affordable upgrading of RAM, disk space and network bandwidth as
Web Sites grow.
