NIWeek 96 -- The International Virtual Instrumentation Conference

AUSTIN, TEXAS -- JAN. 18, 1996 -- National Instruments announced today
plans for its second annual international conference on virtual
instrumentation. NIWeek 96 - Tap the Power of Virtual Instrumentation -
will be held Aug. 5-8, 1996 at the Stouffer-Renaissance Hotel in Austin,
Texas. NIWeek is designed for engineers and scientists involved in test,
measurement, and industrial automation; third-party developers who are
members of the National Instruments Alliance Program; and instrument
manufacturers and strategic partners. Attendees will learn about virtual
instrumentation, have the opportunity to gain insights from top management
and key engineering personnel at National Instruments, attend in-depth
technical training, and share ideas and experiences with expert users.

Application Contest - Call for Papers

National Instruments invites users to participate in the NIWeek 96
Application Contest. An anonymous judging panel comprised of editors of
technical publications as well as various National Instruments technical
experts will identify the best applications of virtual instrumentation.
Contest winners will be recognized for their achievement, receive free
registration to NIWeek 96, and present their applications to attendees.
DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF ABSTRACTS IS MARCH 29, 1996.
