LOTUS AND STREAM ANNOUNCE NOTESSTORE

WORLDWIDE CHANNEL CREATED FOR LOTUS BUSINESS PARTNER PRODUCTS

ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 22, 1996 -- Stream International and Lotus Development
Corp. today announced NotesStore, a new channel that will help hundreds of
Lotus Business Partners accelerate their Notes-based business applications
to a broader market. Stream will offer developers of Lotus-based
applications a comprehensive set of manufacturing, marketing, distribution
and support services, providing a single source solution for pre-market,
sales and post-sales assistance. Lotus Notes is the world's leading
messaging and groupware product.

"Lotus has built a vibrant industry of thousands of Business Partners who
provide a broad range of business applications and tools to customers,"
said Terry Leahy, president of Stream. "NotesStore will allow these
companies to cost-effectively leverage Stream's strengths in software
manufacturing, distribution, sales and support to dramatically increase
their market impact."

"Over the last year we have seen a tremendous increase in the number of
Notes-based products available from our Partners -- general business
applications like sales force automation, project management, and customer
support, as well as specialized applications for industries like
healthcare, insurance, legal and manufacturing," said Don Bulens, Lotus'
vice president, Worldwide Partner Programs. "Stream has the breadth of
capabilities, international infrastructure and experience in the Lotus
Notes business to offer our Partners a breakthrough service that makes it
easy for them to reach other Business Partners, resellers and customers."

As part of the new program, Stream will offer participating Lotus Business
Partners:

o media duplication, documentation, packaging and assembly of Notes
   applications
o distribution and fulfillment of applications to end-users
o application testing and certification
o outsourced telephone support

Business Partners who participate in the NotesStore program will receive
extensive marketing support from Stream and Lotus, including collateral
and catalogs, fax-back programs, try-and-buy CD-ROMs, and Lotus Notes
Network-based and World Wide Web-based marketing services. A dedicated
Stream sales team will act as inbound and outbound sales contact for
Business Partners and end-user customers.

"The introduction of Lotus Notes Release 4 and Lotus' new pricing strategy
have opened up huge opportunities for us with our Notes-based application
suite, Business in a Box, and other Notes-based applications," said Bud
Brasier, president, Emerging Technology Solutions, Inc., a Lotus Business
Partner. "The new NotesStore gives us the marketing, distribution and
sales leverage to realize that opportunity."

"Key to a flourishing Notes industry is the creation of a channel that
allows innovative application developers to reach the right customers and
vice-versa. NotesStore can be a major step toward that end," said David
Marshak, vice president, Patricia Seybold Group.

Stream will be actively enrolling Business Partners in this new program
beginning at Lotusphere '96, at Pedestal #D14. For more information,
interested parties can call 1-800-888-8182. Applications will be available
for customer purchase from NotesStore in the second quarter of 1996.
