LEXMARK'S MARKVISION SUPPORTS NOVELL MANAGEWISE 2.0

PRINTER UTILITY FEATURES INCLUDE REMOTE CONTROL OF OPERATOR PANEL

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 22, 1995...Lexmark International, Inc. today announced
that MarkVision, its advanced network printer management application, now
provides integration support for ManageWise 2.0, the latest version of the
network management utility jointly developed by Novell and Intel.
MarkVision's ability to integrate seamlessly with ManageWise 2.0 enables
network administrators to manage their entire network, including network
printers, from a single console. Lexmark is the first printer manufacturer
to provide this capability in network printer management software.

A unique graphical depiction of the Lexmark network printers and print
servers enables the network administrator to launch MarkVision or its
network printer utilities directly from within ManageWise 2.0. This
eliminates the burden of finding and starting other management
applications to manage network printers. Now an administrator can manage
the entire network, including Lexmark's printers and print servers, from a
single console. Key features of MarkVision include job and queue
management, remote control of the operator panel, problem alerts, job
statistics and job accounting.

"Lexmark is pleased to further develop our strategic relationship with
Novell with the announcement of MarkVision support for ManageWise 2.0.
Lexmark is committed to closely working with Novell to develop
industry-leading integrated printer management solutions," said Glenn
Hudson, vice president, Network Printers Division Attachment Products.

Lexmark's networking products support the broadest range of connectivity
and compatibility for desktop and network operating systems of any printer
manufacturer including support for Novell NetWare, IBM OS/2 LAN Server,
Microsoft Windows NT Server, TCP/IP and numerous UNIX environments.
MarkVision supports the Lexmark Optra plus, Optra, Optra C, 4079 plus and
4039 plus printers and is available for Windows 3.1x, Windows 95, OS/2
Warp, Apple Macintosh and UNIX environments.
