NORMALITY TOPS THE LIST OF TITLES ANNOUNCED FOR RELEASE BY INTERPLAY IN
1996

(Blood & Magic and Kingdom 2: Shadoan Also Announced at Winter CES)

January 5, 1996 -- Irvine, Calif.-- Interplay Productions announced today
their line-up of PC titles due out in the first half of 1996 at the
Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The scheduled line-up includes
quality titles that run the gamut of gaming entertainment. Interplay has a
wide diversity of innovative software titles that appeal to a variety of
tastes and ages. Normality, Blood & Magic and Kingdom 2: Shadoan are among
the titles to be released in the first half of 1996 by Interplay.

Normality is a original adventure game which uses a unique 3-D engine to
create a truly realistic world where the player encounters and interacts
with characters on a puzzle-solving quest. The player is just out of jail,
down on his luck and living in the shadow of the law. To make matters
worse, the player is trapped in his apartment and the Norm-troopers are
camped outside the front door. Welcome to Normality and life in
Neutropolis, where something strange has been happening. The population is
lifeless and anything remotely fun has been stamped out of existence. The
player's goal: to escape from the apartment, track down the goons who are
sucking the life out of the city and make Neutropolis a place where any
"normal" person would want to live.

Normality contains over 100 motion-captured animation sequences which bring
the characters in Normality to life while rendered cut scenes provide
ambiance and a touch of humor in a world known only as Normality.

The first real-time strategy game from Interplay's Advanced Dungeons &
Dragons (AD&D) series, Blood & Magic is set in the Forgotten Realms world,
where the epic battle between evil and good is played out through a wide
range of characters and ever-changing scenarios. The player must utilize
the legendary characters from the Forgotten Realms to aid his conquest in
this epic adventure. A unique transformation feature allows the player to
advance the strength of his army from mere Acolytes to powerful Warriors
and Wraiths. Epic battles, character transformation and the exploration of
new realms combine to create a continuing challenge in the race to achieve
victory by capturing the enemies' homeland. Blood and Magic is filled with
clear graphics, beautiful animation and interactive landscapes which
provide the player with hours of exploration and adventure.

An animated family adventure filled with rich storytelling in a wondrous
world of magic and danger, Kingdom 2: Shadoan continues the quest begun in
Kingdom: The Far Reaches. Intriguing puzzles, an original soundtrack and
spectacular hand-drawn animations rendered in state- of-the-art
full-motion video combine together to create an amazing multi-media
experience suitable for the entire family. Multiple levels of difficulty
ensure that both beginners and advanced players will find an exciting and
challenging quest at every turn. Kingdom 2: Shadoan is a non-linear game
that allows the player to explore and discover countless locations in a
truly interactive land that will enchant the entire family.

Other titles scheduled for release in the first half of 1996 included:
Conquest Of The New World, Descent II, Dragon Dice, Pete Townshend
Presents Tommy: The Interactive Adventure, and Whiplash.
