VR SPORTS KICKS OFF THE SEASON WITH VR SOCCER '96 HEADING FOR THE GOAL

January 5, 1996 -- Irvine, CA -- VR Sports, maker of the next generation of
interactive sports games, announced today that VR Soccer '96 will be the
first game to kick off the anticipated launch of the state-of-the-art VR
Sports brand. VR Soccer '96 will be released on the PC CD-ROM and Sony
PlayStation in April, while the SEGA Saturn version will be launched
shortly after this time.

Using Virtual FieldVision, gamers will be able to play soccer from
virtually any perspective (even first-person) or position on the field in
real time. In essence, gamers will be able to put themselves in the game
and play against the pros or their friends. There are no limits to a
gamer's field of vision, since Virtual FieldVision creates a full 360 3D
environment. Camera angles can be changed easily with a seamless shift in
perspective to view the action from any position. The PC CD-ROM version
has 20-player network capability.

"VR Soccer '96 screams on the PC and is the fastest sports game ever," said
Matt Findley, VR Sports' director of development. "I never thought playing
a soccer simulation could appeal to my appetite for sports. VR Soccer '96
has made me a soccer fan."

VR Soccer '96 features real captured motion from professional soccer
players. Using Interactive Motion Technology, player motions were captured
creating a truly breathtaking soccer experience. Gamers will experience a
noticeable difference in game play. VR Soccer '96 enables fluid movement
for gamers and eliminates the choppy movements of current sprite-based
interactive sports software.

"The first-person perspective of VR Soccer '96 really puts you in the game,
you become immersed and almost feel every kick and every tackle," said
Paul Sackman, VR Sports'director of marketing. "VR Sports is dedicated to
creating state-of-the-art software that enhances the emotional involvement
fans have with sports by putting every gamer in the experience and thrill
of playing in an actual game."

VR Sports will release VR Golf '96 and VR Baseball '96 in April to complete
the spring line-up.
