January 5, 1996 -- Irvine, CA -- VR Sports, maker of a complete line of
interactive sports games, announced today the release of VR Golf '96 in
April for Sony PlayStation, with the SEGA Saturn and PC CD ROM versions
releasing in July. VR Golf '96 puts you on the greens like no other
interactive sports game in the category. VR Golf '96 lets gamers play golf
in a real time 3-D world through VR Sports' new Virtual FieldVision
technology. Golfers will notice a real difference with VR Golf '96,
including faster game play because there is less set- up time between
shots as a result of Virtual FieldVision.

All the nuances and strategies of golf from club selection and specialty
shots like fades and dog legs to real chipping, driving and putting have
been built into VR Golf '96, making it the standard for golf simulations.
Using Interactive Motion Technology, real captured motion from golfing
professionals are incorporated into the game. Other features include a
unique easy-play format with all of the golfing skills at your finger
tips, accessible through a simple screen interface. There are multi-player
options, fully customized players, and club selection. Shot tracking and
follow-the-ball replay from 10 different angles are available. Save game
options can be used to show a player's improvement.

"This is the finest golf simulation to play and features the most beautiful
3D courses I have ever seen," said Matt Findley, VR Sports' director of
sports development. "I play this golf simulation all the time because it
is very addicting."

Virtual FieldVision is featured in VR Golf '96, allowing players to play
within a true 360 real-time 3D environment. The multiple camera angles and
spectacular 3D scenery creates some of the most beautiful courses to play.
With up to three views on- screen, VR Golf '96 sets an impressive standard
