The, "Animated Cursor Schemes for Windows '95" World Wide Web site is now
active at the following URL:

    <URL: http://www.islandnet.com/~wwseb/cursors.htm>

The only site on the Internet devoted exclusively to creating original
animated cursor schemes for the Windows '95 mouse pointer!

What is an "animated cursor scheme?"

An "animated cursor scheme" follows a particular desktop theme for mouse
pointers.

In the case of "Bugs on My Desktop!," for example, that theme is insects.
Instead of a plain arrow for a mouse pointer, this cursor would be
replaced with a "Nine-spotted Ladybug Beetle." Each desktop task, vertical
resize, horizontal resize, text select, etc., all have their own insect
cursors. Each one is different!

In total, each scheme comprises 14 cursors, 2 of which are usually
animated. All of the cursor sets on this WWW site follow Microsoft
Corporation's original configuration for the Windows '95 mouse pointer.

The latest artistic rendering on our WWW site is, "Bugs on My Desktop!"
version 1.1.

This scheme includes detailed renderings of the Nine-spotted Ladybug
Beetle, Two-spotted Stink Bug, Goldenrod Spider, Eight-spotted Forester,
Biting Stable Fly, Giant Swallowtail, Green Valley Grasshopper and more!

There are 14 cursors in total, 2 of which are animated. In, "Bugs on My
Desktop!" the Stink Bug releases a foul liquid onto your desktop. It's
really quite amusing.

There are also several other schemes for users to download for a trial
period of 7 days, at which time they are asked to register.

These are: The Bees!, The Horror!, A Backpacker's Cursors, Original Boy
Scout Cursors and Kriss Kringle's Christmas Cursors.

All of the cursor schemes are shareware. $4.95(US) each to register.

Lastly, many of the animated cursor schemes appearing on this WWW site have
been selected for inclusion onto a new CD-ROM that will accompany the
latest version of the best-selling book, "Windows '95 Secrets." Published
by IDG Books Worldwide Inc., and authored by Brian Livingston and Davis
Straub, the 3rd edition of, "Windows '95 Secrets," is expected to be
released in the Spring of 1996.

Thank-you very much,

Franjo Goluza,
Animated Cursor Scheme Artist and WWW site maintainer.
