DAYNA SHIPS COMMUNICARD PLUS ETHERNET/MODEM PC CARD

MACWORLD EXPO, JANUARY 9, 1996 -- Dayna Communications, Inc. announced
today that it will begin shipping its CommuniCard Plus Ethernet/Modem PC
Card on February 5. The CommuniCard Plus Ethernet/Modem, which was
introduced previously at Macworld Expo in August, is part of the
CommuniCard family of Ethernet adapters, 14.4 and 28.8 modems, and
wireless LAN adapters for users of Apple PowerBooks with a built-in PC
Card slot.

The Dayna CommuniCard Plus Ethernet/Modem combines the functionality of
both an Ethernet adapter and a 28.8 modem in a Type II PC Card. Users can
connect any PowerBook with a built-in PC Card slot to an Ethernet network
and a phone line using a single card. Both the Ethernet and modem
functions can operate simultaneously, freeing the second PC slot for other
uses. The CommuniCard Plus Ethernet/Modem connects to an Ethernet network
and a phone line through RJ-45 and RJ-11 cabling. The card features 64K of
RAM, and a 16-bit data bus.

The CommuniCard Plus will also include Dayna's newly developed
communication software package called the Dayna AddressBook. The
AddressBook, developed in conjunction with Apple Computer, is the first
communication management software package to allow users to organize
database, address, phone, FAX, e-mail, and paging information in one
central location. Version 1.0 of the software, which will ship with the
CommuniCardPlus in mid February, will offer users an easy-to-use faxing
and address book interface; future versions of the product will integrate
all communications technologies within a single-interface package.

PRICING INFORMATION

The CommuniCard Plus Ethernet/Modem PC Card has an estimated street price
of $520 and ships with a five year warranty, and an integrated,
fully-featured FAX and terminal communications software package. A free
upgrade coupon for Dayna's AddressBook software is included and users will
be shipped version 1.0 of the AddressBook in February free of charge.

In addition, Dayna also announced today that it will begin shipping a new
non-cellular version of its CommuniCard 28.8 Modem. The non- cellular 28.8
