CAPCOM ANNOUNCES THE RELEASE OF MEGA MAN X3 FOR THE SUPER NINTENDO
ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM

SUNNYVALE, Calif., -- January 19, 1996 -- Capcom Entertainment Inc., a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Capcom Co., Ltd., today announced the release
of Mega Man X3 and the availability of Breath of Fire 2 and Final Fight 3
for Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Capcom's next SNES title
is Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems which is scheduled to release in
April.

Mega Man X 3 picks up the adventures of the Mega Man of the future where
they left off at the end of the second game. Zero has been re-assembled
and the X-Hunters have been destroyed, so things are looking up for Mega
Man X. Or so one would think. Sigma has also been repaired, and has hinted
at a fiendish plot to do in Mega Man X. With a little luck, and judicious
use of Dr. Light's Power-Up capsules, Mega Man X may be able to dash,
jump, and Mega-blast his way through Sigma's traps. Mega Man X3 will sell
at a suggest retail price of $73.95*

Breath of Fire 2 centers around Ryu, a descendant of the hero from Breath
of Fire, who must assemble a team of able-bodied adventurers to save the
universe from the evil machinations of Habaruku, a twisted cult leader
bent upon opening the gate to another dimension and freeing an evil that
transcends human imagination. The game clocks in at 24 megs, and offers
more features than ever before, such as a customizable town, hidden
characters, spells that interact with the characters' environments, and
incredibly powerful magic and weapons. It is available at a suggest retail
price of $73.95*.

Final Fight 3 has Mike Haggar at it again in Capcom's popular
side-scrolling action game. In this sequel, Guy and Mike Haggar return in
an all-new battle with the forces of the Mad Gear Gang in this
high-intensity punch and kick fest. Players must learn each character's
special moves to knock-out hordes of angry gang members, while picking up
weapons and power-ups to assist in stomping the baddies. It sells at a
suggested retail price of $68.95*.

Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems teams-up Marvel Comics and Capcom once
again in another great SNES title based on characters from the Marvel
Universe. This game will feature characters such as Spider-Man, Woverine,
Iron Man, Captain America, the Hulk, and a host of other super-heroes and
super-villians in a side-scrolling fighting adventure. Players will be
thrilled to adopt the guise of their favorite hero in the battle against
evil. War of the Gems will sell at a suggested retail price of $68.95*.
