INTERZINE PRODUCTIONS LAUNCHES iSKI ON AMERICA ONLINE

A New Site for Skiing Enthusiasts Brings Top Resorts Online and Lets AOL
Members Participate in the Nation's Leading Winter Sport

Vienna, VA, January 17, 1996 - America Online, Inc. and InterZine
Productions today announced the launch of "iSKI" - a unique interactive
area that brings the fun and excitement of skiing online. InterZine
Productions, developer of the award-winning AOL and Internet golf area
iGOLF, is a successful new business grown in The AOL Greenhouse. iSKI is
available on America Online at Keyword: iSKI.

iSKI is dedicated to building an online community of skiers where everyone
from first-timers to extreme skiers can share their experiences and
insights. In addition to information on snow conditions, lodging, ski
equipment deals and hot new trends, iSKI's "SnoMads" feature will have
iSKI staff members and AOL members providing the online skiing industry's
first real-time ski reports and interviews. SnoMads ski the mountains,
photograph the sites, and chronicle their experiences on and off the
slopes using laptop computers and digital cameras. iSKI is on the lookout
to recruit regional SnoMad guides from among AOL members across the
country. Information on how to become an iSKI SnoMad is available online
at keyword: iSKI

"InterZine is programming content specifically for the online medium," said
Daniel Krifcher, Vice President of America Online and General Manager of
The AOL Greenhouse. "The success of InterZine's iGOLF reflects the
interactivity and dynamics that define online entertainment and
differentiate this as a unique form of communication. We expect iSKI to
become a significant source of ski information, as highly regarded among
skiers as iGOLF is among golfers."

iSKI, led by Neil Stebbins - former editor and publisher of POWDER Magazine
- has brought together a group of the ski industry's top writers to
provide the most creative, original skiing information available online.
Contributing writers include: Andy Slough, Paul Hochman, Susan Kay, Tina
Cole, Michael Beaudry, Chris Noble and many others.

"iSKI helps people get to know skiing from a local perspective," said Neil
Stebbins, iSKI's Creative Director. "For the first time, people who are
planning a trip can feel like they are actually at the mountain, sharing
the sensations and excitement of a good run, and socializing with skiers
from around the world. And through iSKI, some of the country's most
passionate skiers will have the opportunity to become SnoMads, our online
ski guides. "

iSKI marks the first of several planned online/Internet sites from
InterZine. InterZine will be launching a separate site devoted exclusively
to snowboarding later this month.

InterZine Productions, founded in 1994 by new media entrepreneur Brian
Henley, brings together top editorial and technical talent to create
unique products developed exclusively for the interactive medium.
InterZine was one of the first companies to partner with America Online
through The AOL Greenhouse and is backed by three top venture capital
firms: Massey Burch, Draper-Fisher Associates and Trans National Ventures.
InterZine's first product - iGOLF, can be found via keyword: iGOLF on AOL
and at http://www.igolf.com.

The AOL Greenhouse provides InterZine Productions with online production
support including full utilization of AOL's publishing tools, Internet
publishing support, seed equity funding, marketing resources, online
promotion and an audience of 4.5 million America Online subscribers.
Partners in The AOL Greenhouse are given the opportunity to team with
interactive marketing partners to assist in the development of new revenue
streams.
