Pascal Utility Library

The Pascal Utility Library is a collection of all freely distributable (Public Domain, freeware, shareware, contribution requested, etc.) source code, utilities, applications, etc. for PC Pascal developers. Tools specific to Turbo Pascal versions before 5.0 are not included. The collection is available on CD-ROM and (by special order) 1.44MB diskettes. A directory database accompanying the library is a dBASE compatible .DBF file with DOS search program. The database also lists all existing commercial products, for one stop shopping for all existing Pascal tools. The directory database and library are updated at least every two months. United Kingdom based Pascal Magazine (July 94) called it "comprehensive...a bargain". The Cobb Group's Inside Turbo Pascal journal (Dec'91) said "at this price and for the convenience of the directory, with just a single file you can probably justify the price of the entire library". A ZIPed text file listing all Public Domain and Shareware Pascal products found on BBSes in the USA , organized by type, with release date and short description can be found as PASU19.ZIP on many BBSes and SimTel mirrors. EMS also produces a directory of all Pascal tool producers, with address, phone, fax, BBS, Email, web, etc. information.
