                         GENERAL PRODUCT INFORMATION


INTRODUCTION

  CARD is a program for more technically minded people to test the
  performance of their graphics card and monitor.  It tests all the
  different video modes and colours on your graphics adaptor.  It highlights
  any problems with monitor convergence, focus, linearity, picture position,
  and picture size.  And it comes complete with instructions on how to
  correct most of the problems that may be found.

  This version of CARD is shareware, and may be tried out free of charge
  for a limited period.


INSTALLING THE PROGRAM

  CARD must be installed onto another disk drive with at least 
  360KB free space, using the supplied installation program:

  1. Put the Installation Disk in drive A: or B:.

  2. Go to a DOS command line.

  3. Enter "x:INSTALL" where "x" is A or B indicating the drive with the
     Installation Disk.

  4. Press "I" to begin installation.  When requested, enter the drive and/or
     directory to install the program to, or just press <Enter> to accept the
     default.

  5. Press "X" to exit from the Install utility, and then enter "CARD"
     to run the program.  The program can also be run from within the
     Install utility by pressing "R".


RUNNING THE PROGRAM

  Go to the directory containing the CARD package and enter
  
    CARD
  
  at the DOS command prompt.


DOCUMENTATION

  The complete shareware documentation is contained in the CARD.DOC file
  that is accessible after the program is installed.   The document is 20
  pages long in ASCII format with formfeeds being the only control characters.
  To print the file simply enter
  
    PRINT CARD.DOC
    
  from the DOS command prompt.
