ENTIRE MICROSOFT VISUAL BASIC FOR WINDOWS KNOWLEDGE BASE IN HELP FILE

VBKB_16.EXE is a collection of indexed Windows (16-bit) Help files and 
dynamic link libraries (.DLL files) that give you the complete Microsoft 
Visual Basic for Windows Knowledge Base in two Help files with full-text 
search. If you are running Microsoft Windows for Workgroups, you must
use this version of the Visual Basic for Windows Knowledge Base help files.

   or updates to Visual Basic for Windows)

   techniques for Visual Basic for Windows)

 - VB_TIPS.IND (index required for VB_TIPS.HLP for full-text search)

 - FTENGINE.DLL (required for full-text search -- put in WINDOWS directory)

 - FTUI.DLL (required for full-text search -- put in WINDOWS directory)

 - MVAPI.DLL (required for full-text search -- put in WINDOWS directory)

There are over 1000 categorized articles in the Visual Basic for Windows
collection. The Help files in VBKB_16.EXE have an additional Find button 
that allows full-text search. 

Where to Find VBKB_16.EXE

Download VBKB_16.EXE (self-extracting file) from the Microsoft Software 
Library (MSL) on the following services:

 - CompuServe
      GO MSL
      Search for and download VBKB_16.EXE

 - Microsoft Download Service (MSDL)
      Dial (206) 936-6735 to connect to MSDL
      Download VBKB_16.EXE

 - Internet (anonymous FTP)
      ftp ftp.microsoft.com
      Change to the \softlib\mslfiles directory
      Get VBKB_16.EXE

After downloading VBKB_16.EXE, run it to extract the files it contains.
