                                ============
This document contains information about installing and using the Perpetual
Calendar Add-In for Microsoft Excel v5.

History
-------
The idea for the Perpetual Calendar Add-In came to me whilst I was writing
a Spreadsheet and wanted the user to enter a date easily.

Perpetual Calendar can be set up to allow users to enter dates by double
clicking in a cell and selecting the date from the "pop-up" calendar.
It can be set up when writing the spreadsheet to not allow dates in the
past.
i.e. if you require the user to enter a date for a future appointment etc.

Installation
------------
The installation process is detailed below.

1) Open Microsoft Excel.
2) Create a New borkbook.
3) From the "Tools" Menu select "Add-Ins..."
4) Select "Browse..."
5) Locate the file "CALENDAR.XLA" and press "OK"
6) Select "Yes" to copy the Add-In to Library
7) Open the workbook you wish to use the add-in with
8) Select "Tools", "References..."
9) Select "CALENDAR.XLA" and press "OK"

Using "Perpetual Calendar"
--------------------------
Perpetual Calendar has been written to be seamless to the user.
When writing the spreadsheet you can define exactly when you want the
calendar to "pop-up".

To show it working, open the spreadsheet "EXAMPLE.XLS" and follow the
on-screen instructions.
