ABSTRACT:
This file contains AFPFIX2.NLM. This patch fixes the problem when a
Macintosh, running System 7, would lose its connection to the NetWare 3.11
file server, running NetWare for Macintosh v3.0, or v3.01, when the
server's bindery is closed. The server bindery is closed during a backup
of the server. The patch works with either the 20, or 100- user versions
of NetWare for Macintosh.

This is AFPFIX2.NLM. This patch resolves the problem of a Macintosh
running System 7 losing its connection to the NetWare v3.11 file server
running NetWare for Macintosh 3.0, or 3.01, when the server's Bindery is
closed. The server bindery is closed during a backup of the server.

The patch will function with either the 100-, or 20-user version of NetWare
for Macintosh.

To install the patch to the AFP.NLM:

 (a) Copy PATCHMAN.NLM and AFPFIX2.NLM to SYS:\SYSTEM.
 (b) Add the following commands to AUTOEXEC.NCF:
       LOAD PATCHMAN
       LOAD AFPFIX2.NLM
The lines should be added after the LOAD AFP command line.
 (c) Down the server and re-boot, or manually load PATCHMAN and
      AFPFIX2 at the NetWare console.
