TRINZIC EXPANDS ALTERNATE DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS

Keen Interest in Leading Client/Server Tools Draws Hundreds of VARs into
New Affiliates Program

Palo Alto, CA, April 12, 1994--Trinzic Corporation (NASDAQ:TRNZ) today
announced that it has established an Affiliates Program aimed at
attracting and retaining a range of third-party providers who will
recommend and/or resell its middleware and application development tools,
or who will use its tools as an integral part of their own product
development efforts.

The program provides for graduated levels of incentives as well as
technical support and training depending on the needs of the third-party
partner.

"Trinzic has recognized that resellers will represent an important source
of revenue growth in the market. The establishment of this structured and
formal program reaffirms our commitment to this strategy," noted Alan L.
Codkind, Vice President, Business Development for Trinzic. "Our approach
offers flexibility and strong incentives to meet the needs of a wide range
of these providers." According to Codkind, a tremendous amount of interest
in Trinzic has been driven by its InfoPump middleware product. One hundred
twenty new resellers have contracted with Trinzic in the last 60 days,
with hundreds more actively interested in the Affiliates Program

Program Matches Interest and Commitment Level of Partner

Trinzic's Affiliates Program, structured around five categories, offers
flexibility and increasing incentives based on a third-party partner's
needs:

Strategic Affiliate: Trinzic works closely with its Strategic Affiliates to
develop a program customized to their particular business models. Under
this program, mutually advantageous commitment levels, joint marketing
programs, distribution elements and re-engineering agreements are reached.
Trinzic's current Strategic Affiliates include Sybase, Micro DecisionWare,
and Lotus Development Corporation.

Standard Affiliate: In this entry-level category, a reseller is afforded an
opportunity to become familiar with Trinzic's products. Trinzic does not
require Standard Affiliates to stock products or maintain a level of sales
commitment. Trinzic offers its Standard Affiliates territorial coverage
and distribution opportunities.

Premier Affiliate: Aimed at systems integrators and resellers who provide
comprehensive educational, consulting, implementation and support services
to their customers, this program category offers stronger incentives for
those partners willing to commit to significant resale levels for
Trinzic's products.

Developer Affiliate: This program category is intended for software
development firms and value-added relicensors who are using Trinzic
products to build or enhance their own products. For this category of
affiliate, Trinzic offers development software, support, training, and
promotional programs.

Consultant Affiliate: As a Consultant Affiliate, an organization has access
to Trinzic's products for its own use as well as technical support and
training for the products. As a Consultant Affiliate, an organization will
not market Trinzic's products, but will work in a consulting and training
capacity for deploying and supporting Trinzic products at customer sites.

As a Standard Affiliate, Noteable! Inc. of Calgary, Alberta has found the
program helpful in meeting the challenging needs of its clients. As a
technical and business application consulting firm, providing workflow
solutions using Lotus Notes, Noteable! selected InfoPump to resolve an
outstanding client requirement for data integration. "Trinzic responded
with a solid support program which included on-time software delivery,
qualified on-site technical support services, and responsive help desk
support to our staff during installation," said Pat Dennis, Noteable!'s
president. "The Affiliates Program encourages Noteable! to work as a team
with Trinzic in addressing client issues and future needs."
