LA Times 3.3 - RELEASED!

LA Times is an NNTP news reader for IBM OS/2 2.11 (2.1 with CSD) and TCP/IP
version 1.2.1 or later.  It has been designed to be a replacement for the
NewsReader/2 product currently shipping with TCP/IP.

It offers:

- Significant speed improvement over previous versions of
  LA Times, and is, in many cases, faster than NR/2.
- Optional Toolbars for all windows
- Subject Keyword searching (favorite subject searching)
- Automatic UUENCODE/UUDECODE of binary information, including
  binaries spanning multiple articles.
- Article body/header/both string searches
- Optional notification and higlighting of replies to articles
  you post
- True support for "spoiler" characters within articles
- Ability to arrange subscription window
- Multiple selects for marking, subscribing and unsubscribing.
- ROT13 support.

Fixes/Features:

- All bugs/weirdness reported for V3.2 have been corrected
- Deleted temporary files used by the program no longer get
  placed in the OS/2 undelete directory.
- Posting Address information dialog now supports right clicking
  in the "Newgroup(s)" field for a quick selection of groups
- UUDECODE feature now supports long filenames on HPFS
  partitions
- Fonts and colors are now Drag-and-Drop like in LA Gopher

Where to get it:

You can get a copy of LA Times for a 30-day evaluation via anonymous ftp
from ftp.cdrom.com.  The cost for a full version is $25US (See help file
for the specifics of registering).  If you order LA Times and LA Gopher at
the same time, you can get both for $40US.
