Page 8 of 17 VIDEO MODES AND DOUBLE BUFFERING

AcroSpin supports several different video modes. Depending on the hardware in
your system, you can switch video modes at any time (even while an object is
moving). To switch video modes, hold down the M key, type the number of the
desired video mode (from 0 to 11), and then release the M key.	If the video
mode is supported by your hardware, the mode will change when you release the M
key. If nothing happens, then either your hardware doesn't support that mode,
or you are already in that video mode.	For a complete list of video modes,
press H for help and go to page 7 of the help information.

For some video modes there is enough memory on the adapter to support two
complete images of the object.	For those modes, AcroSpin can perform double
buffering -- a technique that makes motions look smoother for many objects. By
default, AcroSpin double buffers when possible. To explicitly turn double
buffering off, press the B key. Press the B key again to turn it back on.

You can practice using the M and B keys on the next object, a lamp.
