LOG376.EXE contains v3.76 (940711)PTF  of LOGIN.EXE for NetWare v3.12.  It
addresses problems when using EXIT statements containing more than 14
characters.

SYMPTOM

When using an EXIT statement in the login script specifying a path and/or file
name that exceeds 14 characters, the client work station would hang.

CAUSE

Login uses the BIOS's keyboard buffer to place the command provided with the
EXIT statement as well as any options.  The limitation of this buffers is 14
characters plus a carriage return.

SOLUTION

Apply LOGIN.EXE provided in LOG376.EXE.

Installation Instructions:

NOTE:  Always make a backup of applicable files before applying new fixes.

1)  Flag LOGIN.EXE contained in the LOGIN and PUBLIC directories normal or
sharable, read/write.

2)  Rename LOGIN.EXE contained in the LOGIN and PUBLIC directories to
LOGIN.ORG to allow an original copy.

3)  Copy the LOGIN.EXE provided with this update into the LOGIN and PUBLIC
directories.

4)  Flag the new LOGIN.EXE sharable, read only.
