ACLAUNCH.EXE
------------
A configurable launcher that copies newer code to local drives,
then starts ACCESS.

This program examines a master copy of the application MDB on
the network and compares it to the copy on the user's local
drive. When the master copy is newer, or a specified number
of days has passed since code was last copied, the master code
file is copied to the user's local drive. Access is then started
with the name and path of the local copy of the application MDB.
The launcher determines the path for MSACCESS.EXE from the
[Extensions] section of WIN.INI. I haven't yet tested with 1.1
or the ADK, but it should work the same. The path names and
version control table and field names are stored in an INI file
in the user's private windows directory. To modify the INI file,
hold down the shift key while starting the launcher.

This program requires VBRUN300.DLL, VBDB300.DLL, MSAJT112.DLL,
and THREED.VBX. As far as I know, the executable can be renamed
without any problem.

I will have a help (.HLP) file and support for copying the
SYSTEM.MDA in the next release, which should be available before
1/1/95. Another feature that I am working on is the capability
of keeping user-created queries, reports, etc. from being overwritten
when new code is copied down.

This product is shareware with a registration fee of $30.00 per Access
application. Multi-site and unlimited distribution licenses are
available. Please contact me with your requirements. To register,
fill out the included REGISTER.TXT form or GO SWREG on CompuServe.

I hope this program will be as useful for you is it has been for
me. For support or to register, contact me by any of the following
means.
