TITLE :FIX: Modifying Query In SQL Query Wizard 2.6 Brings Up RQBE
PRODUCT :Microsoft FoxPro
PROD/VER:2.60
OPER/SYS:MS-DOS
KEYWORDS:kbtool kbbuglist kbfixlist

---------------------------------------------------------------------
The information in this article applies to:

- Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, version 2.6
---------------------------------------------------------------------

SYMPTOMS
========

If you modify a query that has been created in Catalog Manager by
the SQL Query Wizard in FoxPro version 2.6 for MS-DOS, the RQBE screen
comes up instead of the Query Wizard screen.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products
listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in
FoxPro version 2.6a for MS-DOS.

MORE INFORMATION
================

When using the Catalog Manager in FoxPro version 2.6 for MS-DOS, you can
build queries using the Query Wizard by selecting the Query option and
clicking NEW to create the query. If the SQL Query Wizard option is
selected, FoxPro will allow a query to be built by selecting the
information in the step by step screens used to build the query. When
finishing the query, save the query for later use. The problem is that
after returning back to the Catalog Manager, if you try to modify the query
with the MODIFY option, the RQBE screen will appear instead of the SQL
Query Screen.
