The Help files are under reconstruction, so we left them out of this rel.
Charlie runs in windows, so install in a program group to your liking, set
the home directory correct, otherwise you might have problems using the
Helpfile. If you give the runtime module a databasename (Full path !) as
parameter, it will start automatically within this database.
Chargo.exe will allow you to access your queries from within any application.
(If you have prepared it with Charlie, and given the query's you want
available here an Icon (double click under Icon in the SQL screen, and
don't forget to save !)
Windows are centered for VGA screens. The selection windows donnot hangup
anymore if there is nothing to select.
The Tables menu-choice got 2 new entrys, which allows you to copy the
definition of a table (or all tables) into the clipboard, so you can paste
them directly into your program.
To be able to access Charlie directly within VB, replace the file
..vb\datamgr.exe as follows :
Rename ....vb\datamgr.exe ....vb\datamgr.bak
Mv or Copy ....Charlie\Charlie.exe .....vb\datamgr.exe
Mv or Copy Charlie.Hlp to your windows directory
