AMORT --- Ver. 1 01/17/93

AMORT is designed to give you a quick look at what your
loan payment and interest will be for a given period. AMORT
is also capable of printing a loan amortization schedule
based on your input.

AMORT was written for Dbase III Plus and program source
code has been provided. The following three files must all
be present in order for AMORT to function:
AMORT.PRG
AMORT.DBF
AMORT.FRM

After you unzip AMORT, copy all three files to your
Dbase directory or where you plan to use them. Note, you
must have a copy of Dbase III Plus or Dbase IV in order to
use AMORT.

Start AMORT by typing DO AMORT at the dot prompt.
After the program starts, enter the amount of the loan.
Next, enter the interest rate in decimal form. Next, enter
the number of months for the loan and press enter. AMORT
will do the rest. Continue to follow the on screen
instructions for your next selection.

Please Note: AMORT is to be used only as a guide for
your loan payments. Your lender will determine what your
exact payments will be.
