Version 1.0a Update
===================

Revision date: June 1, 1993

PRO-dVelBase Lite 1.0a is a minor update containing fixes to some
reported problems.

Reported Problems:
------------------
1. On some computers, PRO-dVelBase gets hung up on startup or exiting.
This is because PRO-dVelBase attempts to increase the typematic rate
on AT style computers. This problem has also been noticed with some
50 Mhz 486 computers when SMARTDRV.EXE is installed.
If there is any problems, start PRO-dVelBase with the "-k" parameter
to turn off the increased typematic rate.

type PRO -k at the DOS prompt

2. PRO-dVelBase may get hung up when pressing CTRL-C (line centering).
This is due to another program or DOS chaining to the CTRL-BRK interrupt
vector. Try removing the program or driver from the AUTOEXEC.BAT or
CONFIG.SYS files and re-booting the computer. If the problem persists,
avoid using the CTRL-C key and do centering manually.

3. On computers with floating point co-processors, such as 486's, the
computer would occasionally lock if calculated fields were present
because of a bug in the floating point routines. This release has
corrected the problem.

4. Occasional spontaneous index corruption would occur. This has been
corrected with this release.
