This Access 2.0 database is the complete 1991 revised US Dept. of Labor (DOL) Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT). It contains job titles, DOT codes, and worker trait profiles fall DOT job titles. It also crosswalks to OES, GOE, SOC and SIC codes. It has numerous queries and forms useful to a career, vocational or guidance counselor. It also contains some obsolete labor market data for the states of New Hampshire and Massachusetts. I developed it for use in vocational testimony for the Social Security Administration as a certified vocational expert. I also use it in counseling and placement of injured workers. I find it more accurate and easier to use than most job matching programs such as OASYS or RAVE.
This may be distributed free to anyone, unmodified in its original ZIPPED format.
If you use this database and enhance it in any way other than adding state or regional labor market data specific to your area, please let me know.
