ZIPFILE NAME: The NAME of the file you will CREATE or WHICH HAS BEEN
CREATED, that contains the compressed files you specified.
If no Path is specified, the file will be created or sought
in current subdirectory. To create this file on another
drive or subdirectory, specify the DRIVE and SUBDIRECTORY.

                          (eg.: b:\sub1\zipfile)

                    THE EXTENSION (".ZIP") IS UNNECESSARY.

FILE(S) TO BE EXTRACTED FROM ZIPFILE or ZIPPED:
The default is ALL FILES FILES (*.*). You may use wildcards
such as ? or *, or list the files singly. If listing the
file(s) for ZIPPPING, include the path for each (if they are
not in current subdirectory), and separate each file from the
                next with a space.
                (eg.: FILE1.TXT FILE2.* FIL???.* \SUB2\FILE3 .....etc.)

DESTINATION DIRECTORY: When extracting files from a ZIPFILE, you can
specify a different DRIVE or SUBDIRECTORY than the current
                one for the destination.

DIRECTORY VIEW: This option allows you to VIEW and/or SET the default
subdirectory. If you did not change to the desired subdir-
ectory prior to invoking EZIP or via the command line
parameter, (ie.; "EZIP C:\util\sub2\") then you may select
                the subdirectory via this option.

CONVERT ZIPFILE into Self-Extracting FILE:
This option creates a second copy of the ZIPFILE, but this new
file has an ".EXE" extension and does not require PKUNZIP to
create (extract) copies of the files it contains. In this
format, all you do is type the file name and it will create
copies of all the files it contains in the current directory.
Why not do this to all .zip files? In this format, the file
cannot be viewed without first unpacking it. Also, the file
is larger as a '.EXE' file than as a ".ZIP". Use this option
to transfer zipfiles to friends who don't have PKZIP/PKUNZIP.

CONVERT '.EXE'=> '.ZIP':
Converts a self-extracting zipfile back into a normal zipfile.
EZIP cannot view the contents of a self-extracting zipfile
until it has been converted back into a '.zip' file. This
option deletes the original '.EXE' file but you can always
create another one later using the "ZIP-to-EXE" conversion.

Other Useful Options:
This option pulls down a submenu with the following features:
'R' to display the EZREADME.TXT file
                'M' to make/create a new directories
                'H' to display THIS file.
'A' to add ZIPFILE comments either directly from the
keyboard, by inserting a previously-created ASCII text
file, or using an external text editor.
                'S' Strip ZIPFILE comments
'C' Contact the author. All information you need to send
me your comments electronically or through the mail.

STRIP ZIPFILE COMMENTS:
Some zipfiles downloaded from bulletin boards contain com-
ments (Like the BBS Logo.) that display whenever you view the
file. If these comments interfere with the display select this
option. Note: Zip Comments added with the Shareware utility
program PKINSERT use a character that DOS recognizes as the
END-OF-FILE (ASCII #26). This tricks some editors into
believing they've reached the end of the file prematurely
(ex: DOS 5.0 Edit, MS-Write, WordPerfect).
