These programs were written by Rion Cassidy.

The motivation for these conversion programs was the author had ProComm 1.1b
and wanted to upgrade to QMODEM. Several email notes to the support staff at
Mustang Software (authors of Wildcat and Qmodem) went unheeded and so the
program was written totally without help from Datastorm (authors of ProComm
Plus) or MSI. Unfortunately, there was more time spent developing this set
of programs than it would have taken to simply reenter all the phone numbers,
but it is hoped that it will save many other people many hours of typing.

The approach to using one of these programs is very simple: just pick the
right one and run it in the directory where the ProComm dialing directory
exists. Pretty much all necessary instructions will be printed on the screen
for you when you run the program.

---> For converting to Qmodem version 5.0 the useage is:

PC11TOQM.EXE <procomm_dir> <qmodem_dir>

	-or-

PC20TOQM.EXE <procomm_dir> <qmodem_dir>

---> For converting to Qmodem version 4.5 (the test drive) the useage is:

PC11TOTD.EXE <procomm_dir> <qmodem_dir>

	-or-

PC20TOTD.EXE <procomm_dir> <qmodem_dir>

BE SURE THAT YOU USE THE CORRECT PROGRAM FOR THE VERSIONS OF DIALING
DIRECTORIES THAT YOU HAVE!!!! FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN QMODEM DIALING
DIRECTORIES THAT ARE USELESS!!!!

It will assume the standard filenames if you don't give any. If the output
files already exist, it will refuse to overwrite them. This way you cannot
damage any existing files by using these conversion programs.

These programs come with no warranties whatsoever but are offered as
"freeware" for anyone who feels that he/she may benefit from. If you feel
that this program has saved you a lot of time and wish to thank the author,
you may send some small cash contribution to him or just call and thank him.
It's very satsifying just to know that others are getting some use out of it.

Of course, reports of problems are also very much appreciated.
