   This program is in fact a "user dictionary" of legal terms for the user of the spell-checking utility found in Microsoft Word ver. 4.0. In order to use it simply place the file "LAW.CMP" in the same subdirectory as your Word program file. Thereafter, whenever you need to check the spelling of a legal document:

-	Press "Esc" to go to the Command Menu;
-	Press "L" to enter the Library sub-menu;
-	Press "S" to use the Spell-Checking utility;
-	Press "D" to select the Dictionary option;
-	Type in "LAW.CMP" at the prompt and then "Enter".

   At this point you can have Word use the legal dictionary simply by selecting "Proof". Word will then proofread your legal document for spelling errors.

   The Legal Dictionary contains approximately 20,000 words which is somewhat less than Black's Law Dictionary, 5th Ed. I am hopeful that I may be able to expand on the dictionary some time in the future.

   Best of luck to all and may the judge never find you without your briefs!
