Museo Storico Navale (Naval Museum)
At the end of the riva degli Schiavoni, you come to the campo San Biagio and the Museo Navale, with its models of old Venetian ceremonial barges and galleys and an exhibit of gondolas. Just up the Arsenale Canal is a branch of the museum, a warehouse with ships from the 19th and 20th centuries, sitting under the watchful eye of the impressive Renaissance gate of the original Arsenale, Venice's mighty shipyards.
