No matter how traditional this restaurant, the preparations are inventive and refined: artichokes, but as a flan appetizer; thick soup, but made of yellow peppers traced with parmesan; rabbit, but with lemon peel and egg. The day's menu is given verbally, in English if wanted; the prices for each course are printed. In summer, the tables spill over to the sidewalk and year-round you can try for one of the bare trattoria tables in a back room, where the prices are more moderate.
