Procedures to make a Pay Per View chip:
 
1. At drive prompt, enter PPVPASS ID# ( ID# is the ID of the master box)
   This will generate a password which will remain on the screen.
 
2. At drive promnpt, enter MAKEPPV ID# [ optional ID$]
   (optional ID# is the number you wish displayed on the screen)
   You will be prompted for a password. This is the password generated in
   step 1. (should still be on the computer screen)
 
3. Two files will be created:
   ID#.PPV
   ID#.3M
 
4. Use these files to burn two chips.
 
5. Install the PPV chip for at least 5 seconds. Not critical on maximum time.
 
6. Install the 3M chip and the screen will blink 3-4 times. Press HELP on the
   videocipher. The pay per view channels will now be descrambled.
