This program is loaded by typing INDICATE at the DOS prompt.

It cannot predict the direction of the market but it will run up a flag of
caution when the market is over priced and conditions for further advances
are not favorable. The amount invested suggestions are based on a retiree's
risk tolerance. Another person having more risk tolerance may want to be more
fully invested when the market is in a risky zone. When the market is not
near the top and conditions are favorable, risk is low and full investment will
be indicated.

Some experimentation may be required to gain a full understanding of the
working of the program, but the help screens that explain the philosophy and
the menus should make most things clear. You may reach the author on the
BUG BBS for further discussion. Any helpful comments will be appreciated.

All input data can be found at the library. The Value Line P/E is on the
front page of the Value Line index. The remainder is found in Barrons.
Update everything weekly except Market in Range. Market in Range can be
updated monthly or when there is a market breakout.

The Value Line G index is used to measure the market level because it includes
many more stocks than the Dow Jones averages and therefore is more representative
of the entire market.

MSDOS GRAPHICS.COM and GRAPHICS.PRO must be in the path to be able to print
the graphics screens. You may be able to find a better graphics screen print
program. If so, modify INDICATE.BAT to load it instead of GRAPHICS.

Good luck .
