 * A woman in Flicksville, Pennsylvania has taken hair styling one step
further than anyone else. She actually designs and molds tiny cities
and landscapes on people's heads. She uses materials from sheet metal
to twigs. One woman, it is said, even had a working miniature TV placed
in her hair style. Many customers have wigs made up by this woman.
 * English writer John Creasey clearly didn't do his homework when he first
started writing. In one of his early western stories he had coyotes fly-
ing through the air. Seems John thought the coyote was a bird not a dog.
 * In the Philippine's the tabloids are far worse than those in the U.S.
One tabloid carried a story about a 22 year old Philippine woman who
"gave birth to a six-inch mudfish." According to the story she named
the mudfish "Goldfish." The tabloid showed pictures of the mudfish and
its "proud parents" - they even said the "baby" would be baptized on
Palm Sunday. This caused some major controversy. But the baptism didn't
take place - "Goldfish" had an accident that prevented it - it was eaten
   by the family's pet dog.
 * A young man wrote to President Bush in 1990 asking him for his help. He
wanted Mr. Bush to write a letter to a girl so he could get a date with
her. He told Mr. Bush she "won't go out with me cause she thinks I'm
   weird."
