Running Cubasis Demo Installer on a networked Windows system The Cubasis Demo Installer supports execution from a networked Windows system. That is, a system which uses a shared copy of Windows, only user files are kept on the client station. Because the server contains all the shared files, the SYSTEM directory is read-only. This prevents one user from overwriting the system for all other users. This presents a problem when you need to install files in the system directory. On shared installations, these files should go in the user's WINDOWS directory. To force Cubasis Installer to do that, you must use the /N parameter. For example: INSTALL.EXE /N After installation you will find a directory next to your new program, called README. This contains a number of Windows Write files, describing changes to the program since the manual was written, giving answers to common questions etc. Please open these files and read them!
