                  DeClicker, the TDM Plug-In for restoring
                          old "crackly" recordings

Hamburg -  The  DeClicker  is the latest addition to Steinberg's 
range of professional DSP Plug-Ins for Digidesign's 
TDM-Technology.
The situation is well known; a irreplaceable vinyl record 
degenerates with each playing. Clicks and pops, from wear & 
tear, dust particles, and 'little accidents', just get worse and 
worse. Ten years ago this was accepted as a fact of life. In the 
age of clean digital sounds, it is good to know that there is a 
solution with the DeClicker!

Steinberg's DeClicker is an intuitive real-time tool that can 
remove these annoying crackles and clicks from a recording. Not 
that it abandons the user in a parameter-labyrinth; it provides 
two simple faders for the DeClicker's sensitivity & 
effectiveness.
The 'Quality' fader controls the method DeClicker uses to replace 
annoying clicks. Another strength of the DeClicker is the ease in 
which digital clicks e.g. caused by digital sync problems, can 
be removed.

The DeClicker is an universal TDM Plug-In that can be used with 
any ProTools III system. For the highest performance and maximum 
ease of use, it is recommended that the DeClicker be used with 
the  Cubase Audio 3.0 System.


 The DeClicker is available from Music Stores and Specialist 
Pro-Audio centres.
