                          IMPORTANT USER INFO
                      FOR THE WINDOWS WALL PAPER
                             RANDOMIZER 7.2

        This short document covers the installation of the files
                       needed to run RANDOMIZER.

  **********************************************************************
               Installation from a Hard Drive is as follows:

             1. Unzip the Random-b.zip file into any directory
             2. Run the Setupran.exe program file from
                the Windows File Manager or Program Manager

  **********************************************************************

             If you received this program on a floppy disk...

      There are two ways to install RANDOMIZER from a floppy disk:

   First change to the 'A' drive by entering 'A:' at the 'C:' prompt.

      Then, at the 'A:' prompt type 'install', then press 'Enter'.

               Install will immediately begin to run.

Your two choices are:

1. You can let 'install' do everything by entering 'Y' when install
    asks if 'you want to go directly to Windows to automatically
    setup', or

2. You can enter 'N' at that time, then go to Windows and run
    'C:\rndmi72\setupran.exe' yourself. Its easier to just let
    install do it.

     After the Windows part of the setup is complete, you must
     exit windows to let the install disk complete its program
     and then return to Windows.

         Upon returning to Windows, you MUST put a copy of the
         WALL PAPER CHANGER Icon in your STARTUP Group so the
         changer will operate each time you start Windows.

         **************************************************
         *                                                *
         *                   IN ALL CASES...              *
         *                                                *
         **************************************************

         The 'Control Center' program must be run in order to
         select wall paper files for display.

     A new directory named 'rndmi72c' will be created on your hard drive.

These files will be installed:

Readme1.txt --- A document simliar to this one
Randcc.hlp --- Help file
Randcc1.hlp -- Help file
Randcc72.bmp - A logo bitmap that MUST be present. However, if you
               would like for your OWN choice of picture to be there
               you can save your picture as 'c:\rndmi72c\randcc72.bmp'
Randcc72.exe - The Control Center program file
Randmscr.exe - The Wall Paper Changer program file

Some other files will also be installed in the rndmi72c directory,
including the windows setup file 'setupran.exe'. I did not list them
because during install and setup any file I provided for setup will
be deleted to eliminate wasted drive space. What a guy!!!

     Two other operating files are generated automatically when you
run the Randcc72.exe 'Control Center' file. These are:

Randc172.ini - The ini file that holds your wall paper selections
Randcc72.ini - The ini file that holds setup information

     Four files will be installed into the C:\Windows\System directory
and should probably be left on your system if you should decide to
remove the RANDOMIZER program. These files are standard Visual Basic
library files that many programs need in order to function.

     Indeed, these files may aready exist on your system. Removing them
may cause the failure of other programs:

Anibrt.vbx ---
Cmdialog.vbx -
Vbdb300.dll --
Vbrun300.dll -

     To remove the RANDOMIZER program from your computer simply
delete the icons and group created by setup and remove the directory

C:\Rndmi72c

and all files in it.

            Help is available in the Control Center program.

                            *  Remember *

           To complete the setup, you MUST put a copy of the
             WALL PAPER CHANGER Icon in your STARTUP Group.

                            (end of file)
